Coeffective numbers of Riemannian 8-manifolds with holonomy in Spin(7) (Q5937094)

The author introduces a differential complex of coeffective type for Spin(7) manifolds \(M\) which are locally conformal to a Riemannian 8-manifold whose holonomy group is a subgroup of Spin(7). The various local properties of this complex such as ellipticity and acyclicity are investigated, and the relationship between the coeffective cohomology of \(M\) and the topology of the manifold are discussed when \(M\) has a subgroup of Spin(7) as a holonomy group.
