The paper deals with the Cauchy problem for the nonlocal multidimensional equation \[ iu_t = -(1/2) \Delta u + f(|u|^2)u,\tag{1} \] where \(\Delta\) is a multidimensional Laplace operator, \(f(|u|^2)\) is a spatial integral convolution of functions \(|u|^2\) and \(\lambda|x|^{-\delta}\), \(\lambda\) is a real constant (positive or negative), and \(\delta\) belongs to the interval \((0,1)\). Assuming that the initial condition \(u_0\) belongs to a specific functional class, it is proven rigorously that, at \(t \to \infty\), the solution asymptotically approaches a standard form of a solution to the scattering problem. A similar fact is proven also for the following time-dependent local nonlinear Schrödinger equation, \[ iu_t = -(1/2)\Delta u + \lambda t^{n-\delta}|u|^2u, \] where \(n\geq 1\), \(\delta\) and \(\lambda\) being the same constants as in equation (1).
