Einstein's equivalence principle is violated in the Quantum Geometry model developed by Caianiello. This model interprets quantization as curvature of the eight-dimensional spacetime tangent bundle. In this approach the standard operators of the Heisenberg algebra are represented as covariant derivatives and the quantum commutation relations as components of the curvature tensor. A mechanism of the violation of the equivalence principle in the neutrino physics is suggested in this paper. The authors have analyzed the neutrino flavor oscillations in the framework of the Quantum Geometry model. It is shown that their results are compatible with estimations of the neutrino mass giving \(m_\nu \sim 0.05 \div 1\) eV. The main consequence of this approach is the behavior of the inverse of the oscillation length as a function of the energy. The authors underline that only the future generation of experiments could provide new data allowing to establish whether the violation of the equivalence principle discussed in the paper occurs.
