      The author studies septic irreducible polynomials such that in the number field generated by its root only one prime \(p<11\) ramifies. The primes 2 and 3 are eliminated by discriminant bounds, the prime 5 by computer search and five polynomials with 7 power discriminant are found. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe methods of \textit{J. W.
