This is a brief sketch (the detailed proof will be presented elsewhere) of the proof of a result regarding the boundary layer associated with incompressible Navier-Stokes equations with vanishing kinematic viscosity. The equations describe unsteady flow in a three-dimensional parallelepidic domain, with injection and suction on its top and bottom; thus, as the boundary conditions for Euler equations, the authors specify the whole velocity on the top and on the bottom. The proof is based on energy estimates.
