The paper deals with \(nth\)-order discrete boundary value problem \[ -\Delta^n y = F(k, y, \Delta y,\dots , \Delta^{n-1} y), \quad k= n-1, n,\dots , N, \tag{1} \] \[ \Delta^p y(N+n-p)=0, \Delta^i y(0) = 0, \quad 0 \leq i \leq n-2, \tag{2} \] where \(n\geq 2\) and \(p\) is a fixed integer satisfying \(0 \leq p \leq n-1,\) \(\Delta^i\) denotes the \(i\)th forward difference operator with step size 1. Using Leggett-William's fixed-point theorem, the authors obtain conditions for the existence of three positive solutions of boundary value problem (1), (2).
