The boundedness and asymptotic behavior of solutions of the difference equation of the form \[ \Delta (r_{n-1}\Delta y_{n-1})+q_{n}(\Delta y_{n})^{\beta }-p_{n}y_{n}^{a}=e_{n} \] is studied. Four examples illustrating the results are presented.
