A subgroup \(H\) of a finite group \(G\) is said to be complemented in \(G\) if there exists a subgroup \(K\) of \(G\) such that \(G=HK\) and \(H\cap K=\{1\}\), \(K\) is called a complement of \(H\) in \(G\). The main results in this paper are the following: Let \(N\) be a normal subgroup of the finite group \(G\) such that \(G/N\) is a supersolvable group. Then \(G\) is supersolvable if one of the following conditions holds: (i) every minimal subgroup of the Fitting subgroup \(F(N)\) of \(N\) is a complemented subgroup of \(G\); (ii) every maximal subgroup of \(F(N)\) has a complement in \(G\).
