Non-commutative harmonic oscillators and Fuchsian ordinary differential operators (Q5940449)

The author studies the spectral problem for a system of noncommutative harmonic oscillators. Thus, the classical spectral problem of one harmonic oscillator is generalized to a system with interactions. The sets of eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are characterized in terms of some special functions, in particular, by the monodromy representations of Heun's differential operator with four regular singular points. The spectrum is given by the zeros of a special connection coefficient of a certain Fuchsian ordinary differential equation.
