The authors continue their investigations of hermitian kernels from [Publ. Res. Inst. Math. Sci. 33, No. 6, 917-951 (1997; Zbl 0904.46016)]. They consider hermitian kernels with additional symmetries given by the action of a semigroup with involution. They obtain a characterization of those hermitian kernels that produce a representation of the action by bounded operators on a certain Krein space. They present an application of this result to GNS representations on inner product spaces.
