The authors consider the a body of negligible mass moving under Newton's law in the gravitational field of two mass points of equal masses undergoing an elliptic collision orbit. Numerical evidence is given for the existence of transversal heteroclinic connections associated to two periodic orbits on the infinity manifold. A Poincaré map defined near the loop formed by the two heteroclinic orbits is constructed which is a horseshoe map. Symbolic dynamics is then used to characterize the classes of motions for the massless body.
