The factorial moments \(g_L\) of a random variable \(\xi \) are defined as the expectation of \[ \xi (\xi -1)\dots(\xi -L+1). \] The paper contains two theorems on the limiting distribution of nonnegative integer-valued strongly additive functions expressed in terms of factorial moments of the limiting distribution and certain (complicated) multiple sums over primes, which approximate the factorial moments of the additive function on the first \(x\) integers. As the first \(L\) factorial moments are in a 1-1 linear connection with the first \(L\) ordinary moments, it would theoretically be possible to express the results in terms of ordinary moments.
