By means of a slight weakening of the concept of \(Q\)-order of convergence, see for example \textit{J. M. Ortega} and \textit{W. C. Rheinboldt} [Iterative solution of nonlinear equations in several variables (2000; Zbl 0949.65053)], the author introduces and studies the notions of \(Q\)-superorder and \(Q\)-suborder of convergence of a sequence in a metric space.
