The author has offered Lie symmetries description for the system \[ \lambda_1 u_t = u_{xx} +F(u,v),\qquad \lambda_2 v_t = v_{xx} +G(u,v). \] If \(\lambda_1\neq\lambda_2\) and \(\lambda_1\lambda_2\neq 0\) then this description is completed. The case of \(\lambda_1\lambda_2=0\) will be completely considered in \textit{R. Cherniha} and \textit{J. King} [J. Phys. A, Math. Gen. (to appear)].
