For a given class of continuous-time nonlinear systems, the authors define the entropy as the trace of a matrix expressed in terms of their structural parameters on the one hand, and of a Jacobian matrix defined by the solution of a Hamilton-Jacobi equation characterizing the gain of the systems, on the other hand. It is shown that under some conditions, in a parametrisation of nonlinear controllers, the central controller, that is to say the controller in which the free parameter is zero, minimizes this entropy. Further comments of the reviewer: This definition is thrown without any motivation for its derivation, and the use of quantum entropy of nonrandom matrices could be of some help in this way.
