The authors calculate Krull dimensions of various noncommutative Noetherian rings such as tensor products of generalized Weyl algebras, extending their previous work [J. Algebra 235, No. 1, 315-358 (2001; Zbl 0998.16014)]. Their major results give conditions for tensor products of certain algebras over a field \(F\) to have the minimal possible Krull dimension. Specifically, an \(F\)-algebra \(A\) is defined to be tensor Krull minimal with respect to a class \(\Omega\) of \(F\)-algebras provided \(\text{K.dim}(A\otimes_FB)=\text{K.dim}(A)+\text{K.dim}(B)\) for all \(B\in\Omega\) such that \(A\otimes_FB\) has Krull dimension. The main theorem states that certain algebras \(T_1\otimes_F\cdots\otimes_FT_n\) are tensor Krull minimal with respect to the class of countably generated left Noetherian \(F\)-algebras, where \(F\) is uncountable and algebraically closed, each \(T_i\) is a generalized Weyl algebra of the form \(D_i(\sigma_i,a_i)\), and each \(D_i\) is an affine commutative \(F\)-algebra. In particular, the Krull dimension of \(T\) is the sum of the Krull dimensions of the \(T_i\). With other techniques, the Krull dimensions of skew Laurent extensions \(F[X_1,\dots,X_n][X^{\pm 1};\sigma]\) are calculated, where \(F\) is algebraically closed and \(\sigma\) is an affine automorphism of the polynomial ring \(F[X_1,\dots,X_n]\), as well as the Krull dimensions of Noetherian down-up algebras over arbitrary fields. -- Conditions for a down-up algebra to be Noetherian were determined by \textit{E. Kirkman, I. M. Musson}, and \textit{D. S. Passman} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 127, No. 11, 3161-3167 (1999; Zbl 0940.16012)].
