The paper is devoted to an analytical characterization of the Fourier spectrum of the solutions of quasi-integrable Hamiltonian systems, which completes the Nekhoroshev theorem relying on a paper of \textit{J. Pöschel} [Math. Z. 213, 187-216 (1993; Zbl 0857.70009)]. The present paper deals with those solutions which are not quasiperiodic functions of time, typically the resonant motions. For such solutions, KAM theorem does not provide any analytic description. The goal of this paper is to provide some insight on the resonant motions, for systems obeying the assumptions of Nekhoroshev theorem, by producing a clear description of the spectrum of a generic observable.
