    The authors study the operator \(A\), given by \[ (Au)(x)=\phi(x,u^\prime(x))u''(x)+\psi(x,u(x),u^\prime(x)), \] with the domain \[ D(A)=\{u\in C[0,1]\cap C^2[0,1], Au\in C[0,1], \] \[ a_j Au(j)+(-1)^j b_j u^\prime(j)\in c_j \beta_j(u(j)), j=0,1\}. \] Here, \(\beta_j\), \(j=0,1\), are strictly increasing maximal monotone graphs in \(\mathbb{R}^2\) containing the origin. Under certain assumptions on the functions \(\phi\) and \(\psi\) and on the real numbers \(a_j\), \(b_j\), \(c_j\), the operator \(A\) is m-quasidissipative, closed and densely defined in \(C[0,1]\).
