The purity problem for functors with transfers (Q5943918)

Let \(R\) be a local regular ring of geometric type obtained by localizing a smooth \(k\)-algebra. Let \(\mathfrak F\) be a covariant functor from the category of \(R\)-algebras to the category of abelian groups that has a structure of transfer map. The author of this paper proves that purity holds for the functor \(\mathfrak F\). Applying this result to various examples, the author obtains new uniform proofs of some important known results.
