The notion of a local subgroupoid of a groupoid \(Q\) on a topological space \(X\) is a natural generalization of the notion of local equivalence relation introduced by \textit{A. Grothendieck, M. Artin} and \textit{J. L. Verdier} in ``Theorie de topos (SGA, Vol. 1), Lect. Notes Math. 269, Springer, Berlin (1972; Zbl 0234.00007)] and further investigated by \textit{K. Rosenthal} in two papers [Topology Appl. 13, 167-176 (1982; Zbl 0486.18012), Cah. Topol. Géom. Différ. 25, (1984; Zbl 0559.18006)], and by \textit{A. Kock} and \textit{I. Moerdijk} [Topology Appl. 72, No. 1, 47-78 (1996; Zbl 0973.54012) and J. Pure Appl. Algebra 82, No. 2, 155-174 (1992; Zbl 0779.18005)]. A local subgroupid of \(Q\) is a global section of the sheaf \({\mathcal L}_Q\) associated to the presheaf \(L_Q\) where \(L_Q(U)\) is the set of all wide subgroupids of \(Q|U\). In the case \(Q\) is a Lie groupoid by a Lie local subgroupoid given by an atlas \((U_t,H_i)\) such that \(H_i\) is the Lie subgroupoid of \(Q|U\). The aim of the paper is to give the construction of the holonomy and monodromy groupoids (and principles) of Lie local subgroupoids. The case that \(Q\) has no topology gives us the weak monodromy principle. For these, the authors use procedures, methods and constructions given by R. Brown together with coworkers [\textit{M. E.-S. A. Aof} and \textit{R. Brown}, Topology Appl. 47, No.~2, 97-113 (1992; Zbl 0855.22007) and \textit{R. Brown} and \textit{O. Mucuk}, Cah. Topologie Géom. Différ. Catégoriques 36, No. 4, 345-369 (1995; Zbl 0844.22006)] concerning the holonomy Lie groupoid of the locally Lie groupoid.
