Stability and \(A\)-stability of dissipative difference scheme for strongly hyperbolic systems (Q5944165)

The author gives a stability and \(A\)-stability theorem of dissipative difference schemes for strongly hyperbolic systems with variable coefficients. This theorem is considered only in the case that the coefficients differ from constant coefficients by sufficiently small variable parts. Under the assumption that the symbols of the schemes have smooth symmetrizers, using the theory of pseudo-difference operators, the theorem is proved.
