The author studies geometrical and analytical properties of manifolds with nonnegative sectional curvature at infinity. First, it is found an estimate for volumes of pieces of big spheres. The second result is a kind of mean value property at infinity for the infimum of superharmonic function. As an application, it is obtained a Liouville type result for harmonic maps.
