A kind of Riemann boundary value problem is formulated and solved for polyanalytic functions in a disc via reduction to a set of Riemann problems for analytic functions. Having solved these the main problem is to compose the polyanalytic function solving the original problem. The result complements the results on Riemann-Hilbert problems in \textit{F. D. Gakhov's} book [Boundary value problems (1966; Zbl 0141.08001)] for polyanalytic functions.
