Development of generalized Nyström and Cowell methods for a second-order ordinary differential equation (ODE) occurring in electric circuit simulation or satellite orbits propagation. Functional values of predictor and corrector can be evaluated in parallel on a shared memory parallel computer with few processors. Numerical experiments on two processors (Origin 200) give a speedup close to two.
