Twist positivity for Lagrangian symmetries (Q5946031)

In [Ann. Phys. 278, 10-61 (1999; Zbl 1049.81047)] \textit{A. Jaffe} introduced the notion of twist positivity to study quantum field theory. In the paper under review, the authors generalize the results of Jaffe to a wide class of symmetries. They investigate the unitary implementation of a symmetry of a classical free field Lagrange. They establish twist positivity of the partition function twisted by the symmetry, and show positivity of the pair correlation operator that is twisted by the symmetry.
