Cubature formulas for the approximation of multivariate integrals were studied. The integrals that remain unchanged under the transformations preserving orientation were considered. New cubature formulas were obtained. The general form of the nonlinear equations determining cubature formulas and giving some rules to obtain cubature formulas with a small number of points were derived. Some results for the unit cube with constant weight function were tabulated.
