An isometric immersion of a Riemannian manifold \(M\) into a Kähler manifold \(\overline M\) is said to be slant if it has constant Wirtinger (or Kähler) angle. The restriction of the Kähler structure \(J\) on \(\overline M\) to \(M\) followed by projection onto the tangent bundle is called the canonical structure \(P\) of \(M\). A slant submanifold is called Kählerian slant if its canonical structure \(P\) is parallel with respect to the Levi Civita connection of \(M\). The author proves a general inequality between the mean curvature and the scalar curvature of half-dimensional Kählerian slant submanifolds of complex space forms and classifies all such submanifolds for which the equality holds. The author also derives the classification of half-dimensional cylindrical slant submanifolds in \(C^n\) without totally geodesic points.
