Let \(Y\) be an integral Gorenstein curve with \(g:=p_a (Y)\geq 5\). Assume \(Y\) is bielliptic, i.e. there exists a degree two morphism \(f:Y\to C\) with \(C\) an integral curve with \(p_a(C)=1\). Let \(W^r_d(Y)(*)\) the subset of \(W^r_d (Y)\) of all locally free rank 1 sheaves on \(Y\) with degree \(d\). Main result: Assume the base field of characteristic zero, \(Y\) with only ordinary nodes or ordinary cusps as singularities and \(C\) smooth. Then there exists an irreducible component \(A(d)\) of \(W^1_d(Y)(*)\), \(d=g-1\) and \(d=g\), with \(\dim A(d)= \rho(g,1,d): =2d-g-2\) and whose general member \(M\) is spanned with \(h^0(Y,M)=2\), and in particular \(M\) does not come from \(C\). Moreover \(\dim W^1_{g-1}(Y) \leq\rho (g,1,g-1)\).
