    The author defines the Wigner-Bessel transform \(V\) on \(\zeta_* ({\mathfrak R}_+)\) by \[ \forall x\geq 0,\;\forall\lambda\geq 0,\;V(f,g)(x,\lambda)= \int_0^\infty j_\alpha (\lambda y)f(y)T_x g(y)d\mu_\alpha (y) \] and discusses its properties. Its inversion formula is also derived. Using this transform the Weyl-Bessel transform \(W_\sigma\) is defined by \[ \forall x\geq 0,\;W_\sigma (f)(x)=\int_0^{+\infty} \int_0^{+\infty} j_\alpha(\lambda x)\sigma (y, \lambda) T_x(f)(y)d \mu_\alpha(y) d\mu_\alpha(\lambda) \] where \(\sigma\) in \(S^m\), \(m\in {\mathfrak R}\), \(m\leq 2(\alpha+1)\). Using harmonic analysis associated with the Bessel operator the boundedness and compactness of the Weyl-Bessel transform \(W_\sigma\) is studied.
