The authors prove an analogue of G. Szegő's theorem on equiconvergence [\textit{G. Szegő}, ``Orthogonal polynomials'' (1939; Zbl 0023.21505); Th.13.1.3] for the case of the Maclaurin series expansion of an analytic function \(F\) which is bounded in the unit circle and of the expansion of the boundary function \(F\) in terms of the orthogonal rational functions [\textit{A. Bultheel, P. González-Vera, E. Hendriksen} and \textit{O. Njastad}, ``Orthogonal rational functions'' (1999; Zbl 0923.42017)] under some restrictions on their poles.
