Let \(B\) be an indefinite quaternion algebra over \(\mathbb Q\) that is ramified at an even number of primes \(\ell_1, \ldots, \ell_n\), and let \(N\) be a positive integer relatively prime to \(D = \prod_i \ell_i\). If \(X^D_0 (N)\) denotes the corresponding Shimura curve defined over \(\mathbb Q\), then there is a non-constant morphism \(\phi: X^D_0 (N) \to E\) defined over \(\mathbb Q\), where \(E\) is an elliptic curve with conductor \(ND\). In this paper the authors prove that the images of almost all Heegner points under \(\phi\) are of infinite order.
