Control of one kind of nonlinear parabolic distributed parameter system with moving boundary (Q5946986)

The very important paper presents the modeling of one kind of nonlinear parabolic distributed parameter control system with moving boundary. The basic characteristics of the system are analyzed, and mathematical models are established to simulate the system. Two ways are suggested in the investigation. One is transforming the system in the variable domain to the fixed domain, and the other consists in transforming the distributed parameter system into the lumped system. The system with open-loop control and then with closed-loop feedback control are studied through computer simulations. Main result: The formulation of the planar, cylindrical and spherical cases as well as an investigation of a unified form, and the dynamic characteristics of an open-loop control system are presented. Numerical results agree well with theoretical results. The simulation results indicate that the system is well-posed, stable, measurable and controllable.
