The authors study a system of coupled spatially discrete Allen-Cahn and Cahn-Hilliard equations. Using a generalization of the double obstacle potential they prove existence and uniqueness of solutions. Equilibrium solutions of mosaic type are considered and conditions are given for their existence and stability.
