Efficient sets of convex compacta are arcwise connected (Q5947267)

In a previous paper, the authors and \textit{W. Song} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 247, No. 2, 377--383 (2000; Zbl 0966.90070)] proved that the efficient set of a convex compact set in a Hausdorff topological vector space that is ordered by a closed convex pointed cone is arcwise connected when it is closed. The condition on the closedness of the efficient set is quite restrictive. In this paper the authors obtain the same conclusion without this condition, but it is required that the strictly positive polar cone of the ordering cone is nonempty.
