Consider the linear nominal discrete system NEWLINE\[NEWLINEx_{i+1}= Ax_i,\quad y_i= Cx_i,\quad x_0\in \mathbb{R}^n\tag{1}NEWLINE\]NEWLINE and a perturbed form NEWLINE\[NEWLINEx^\xi_{i+1}= Ax^\varepsilon_i+ Be_i+ g(\beta_i) f(x^\xi_i),\;x^\xi_0= x_0+ w,\;y^\xi_i= Cx^\xi_i,\tag{2}NEWLINE\]NEWLINE where \(e_i\), \(\beta_i\), \(w\) are some disturbance parameters. The disturbance \((w,(e_i),(\beta_i))\) is called admissible if the output of (2) is `close' to that of (1), i.e. \(\|y^\xi_i- y_i\|\leq \varepsilon\), for all \(i\) for some \(\varepsilon> 0\). The paper studies the set \({\mathcal D}(\varepsilon)\) of all admissible disturbances \((w,(e_i),(\beta_i))\). It is shown that \({\mathcal D}(\varepsilon)\) can be decomposed into a set \({\mathcal D}_1(\varepsilon)\) with a simple structure and another \({\mathcal D}_2(\varepsilon)\) defined by an infinite number of inequalities, making it difficult to characterize. The main result shows that \({\mathcal D}_2(\varepsilon)\) is, in fact, `finitely accessible' in the sense that its structure can be determined by a finite set of inequalities, simplifying the structure of \({\mathcal D}(\varepsilon)\).
