We point out a mistake in the proof of the main result in [\textit{Y.-R. Roh} and \textit{J.-H. Oh}, Automatica 35, No. 11, 1861--1865 (1999; Zbl 0931.93015)]. To correct this mistake, an additional assumption on the considered uncertainties is proposed.
