The design of feedback control structures is addressed for timed event graphs in diods. The paper analyzes the conditions for the existence of three different types of controllers (output feedback controller, state feedback controller and output feedback on state controller) and provides adequate procedures for their synthesis. The design algorithms rely on residuation theory and some Kleene star properties. The resulting closed-loop behavior is as close as possible to the one of the reference model and delays as much as possible the token input inside the timed event graphs. Such controllers are suitable for applications in the field of production management where their operation can be regarded as a generalization of the kanban principle.
