The system of nonlinear impulsive Volterra integral equations \[ \begin{aligned} x(t)&= x_0(t)= \int^t_0H_1 \bigl(t,s,x(s),y(s) \bigr) ds+ \sum_{0< t_i, t_j<1} a_{ij} (t)I^1_{ij} \bigl(x(t_i),y(t_j) \bigr),\\ y(t)&= y(t_0)+ \int^t_0 H_2\bigl(t,s,x(s), y(x) \bigr) ds+ \sum_{0<t_i,t_j<1} b_{ij}(t)I^2_{ij} \bigl(x(t_i),y(t_j) \bigr),\end{aligned}\tag{1} \] is studied, where \(t\in\mathbb{R}_+\) and the functions involved in the equations (1) take values in a real Banach space \(E\). Assuming the uniform continuity (on bounded subsets of \(\mathbb{R}_+ \times E\times E)\) and sublinearity of the functions \(H_1,H_2\) and \(I^1_{ij}, I^2_{ij} (i,j=1,2, \dots)\) and also the Lipschitz continuity with respect to the Kuratowski measure of noncompactness \(\alpha\) of the functions \(H_1\) and \(H_2\), a result on the existence of solutions of the system (1) on the unbounded interval \(\mathbb{R}_+\) is proved. The result seems to be new and interesting but the assumption on the Lipschitz continuity with respect to \(\alpha\) is too strong (in the reviewer's opinion). Also the example provided at the end of the paper seems to be a bit artificial.
