\textit{J.Yu} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 123, No. 1, 121-130 (1995; Zbl 0816.32020)] has found a tight relation between the optimal behavior of the higher order and singular Kobayashi metrics near a smooth boundary point of a bounded \(n\)-dimensional domain and the boundary geometric invariants of this domain. This relation can be formulated by means of so-called \(h\)-extendable points and Kobayashi metrics. In the paper under review the known results concerning the existence of nontangential weighted limit of Kobayashi metric is generalized also for singular metrics in an \(h\)-extensible point of bounded and not necessary taut domain. The stability and localization results for the higher order and singular Kobayashi metrics are also established.
