Let \(K\) be a planar convex body of constant width and let \(u\) be a direction. The symbols \(K^+(u)\) and \(K^-(u)\) denote the two convex subsets of \(K\) which are on the positive and negative sides, respectively, of the longest segment of direction \(u\) in \(K\). The authors consider the value \(\alpha(K)= \max\{A(K^+ (u))/A(K^-(u)): u\in C\}\) which measures the asymmetry of \(K\). Here \(A(\cdot)\) means the area. It is proved that the most asymmetric convex sets of constant width are Reuleaux triangles.
