The authors construct surfaces in the 6-dimensional Euclidean space \({\mathbf E}^6\), by taking the tensor product of Euclidean space curves with Euclidean plane curves. First, they classify the minimal surfaces of this type. Secondly, they consider the canonical complex structure on \({\mathbf E}^6\) and characterize the totally real and the proper slant tensor product surfaces of the respective family.
