The paper is devoted to the linear equation with two constant delays NEWLINE\[NEWLINE\dot{x}(t)+ax(t)+bx(t-r_1)+cx(t-r_2)=0,NEWLINE\]NEWLINE with \(a, b, c\in\mathbb{R}\). The author proves that the regions of asymptotic stability and instability to the equation are connected in the space of all parameters as well as for fixed delays. Moreover, it is shown that in the space of parameters \(a, b, c\) there are no ``islands'' of instability in the region of stability and vice versa. The connectedness of the region of instability in the \(r_1, r_2\)-plane for fixed \(a, b, c\) is also proved.
