For any integer \(n\geq 7\), the authors construct explicitly trinomials \(f(X)=X^n+t^rX^m+t^s\in{\mathbb{Q}}[X]\), \(n>m>0\) such that the Galois group of \(f(X)\) over \({\mathbb{Q}}\) is isomorphic to the alternating group \({\mathfrak{A}}_n\). By considering the discriminant of \(f(X)\), they get conditions for \(\text{Gal}(f)\subset {\mathfrak{A}}_n\). By using some group theory and ramification theory, they develop conditions that imply \({\mathfrak {A}}_n\subset \text{Gal}(f)\). Furthermore, it is possible to choose the coefficients such that the constructed family of Galois extensions consists of pairwise linearly disjoint field extensions. Finally, the paper contains several explicit examples for \(7\leq n\leq 45\).
