An upper bound is obtained for the box-counting dimensions of quasi-periodic orbits of Hölder continuous functions. Such bound is given in terms of the Hölder exponent and the number of frequencies. Important is that the frequencies are not required to satisfy any Diophantine conditions, i.e. the bound holds for all frequencies. In this aspect the result improves the one proven by \textit{K. Naito} in `Fractal dimensions of almost periodic attractor' [Ergodic Theory Dyn. Syst. 16, 791-803 (1996; Zbl 0857.58030)]. The proof is elegant in its shortness and simplicity. Thus it makes pleasure to read the paper, which is also very clear. The case of reverse Hölder functions is also considered and a lower bound is given.
