New proof of Frobenius hypothesis on the dimensions of real algebras without divisors of zero (Q5950862)

A new method of proving is proposed for the Frobenius hypothesis on the dimensions of real algebras without zero divisors. Presented is a method of computing the \(K\)-functor of real projective space. The proposed approach differs from those used by \textit{J. F. Adams} [Comment. Math. Helv. 32, 180-214 (1958; Zbl 0083.17802)] and \textit{M. F. Atiyah} and \textit{D. W. Anderson} [``Lectures on \(K\)-theory'', Mir, Moscow (1967; Zbl 0159.53401); translation from ``\(K\)-theory'', Benjamin, New York-Amsterdam (1967; Zbl 0159.53302)].
