For the integral operator \[ Af = If(x) + \sum_{k=1}^m g_k(x)(f,v_k),\quad x\in[0,1],\tag{1} \] where \( If(x) = \int_0^x f(t) dt\), necessary and sufficient existence conditions for the operator \(A^{-1}\) are established. Found are the Birkhoff regularity conditions [see \textit{M. A. Najmark}, ``Linear differential operators'' (Russian) (Nauka, Moscow) (1969; Zbl 0193.04101), pp. 66-73] and the conditions ensuring equiconvergence of expansions in eigen and adjoint functions of the operator (1) into the ordinary trigonometric Fourier series.
