The paper is devoted to obtain some existence results on some boundary value problems for third-order ordinary differential equations, assuming that some appropriate lower and upper solutions exist. The author investigates three different boundary value problems, namely: (1) \(x'''=f(t,x), t\in [0,T]\); \(x(0)=x'(0)=x(T)=0\), (2) \(x'''=f(t,x), t\in [0,T]\); \(x(0)=x'(0)=x''(T)=0\), (3) \(x'''=f(t,x,x'), t\in [0,T]\); \(x(0)=x'(0)=x'(T)=0\). In all cases \(f\) is assumed to be continuous.
