The authors consider the Mizohata-type operator \[ P=D_t+ ia(t,x)D_x+ b(t,x) \] where \(a,b\) are of Gevrey class \(G^s\) with respect to \(x\). Moreover they assume \(a(t,x)\geq 0\); this represents a stronger version of the (P) condition of Nirenberg-Trèves. The authors prove local solvability in \(G^s\) for \(2\leq s<+\infty\) and give also a result of propagation of singularities. We address to \textit{T. Gramchev} and \textit{L. Rodino} [Boll. Unione Mat. Ital. Sez. B, Artic. Ric. Mat. (8) 2, 65-120 (1999; Zbl 0924.35030)] for related results of Gevrey solvability.
