On generalized measure contraction property and energy functionals over Lipschitz maps (Q5951880)

The authors construct Sobolev spaces and energy functionals over maps between metric spaces satisfying the strong measure contraction property of Bishop-Gromov type. This measure contraction property is a generalization of the property that the Ricci curvature is bounded from below. The authors also introduce the notion of generalized measure contraction property, which gives a characterization of energies by approximating energies of Sturm type over Lipschitz maps.
