    The authors consider the controllability problem of solutions of integro-differential equations of the form \[ {dx\over dt}=A(t)x+\int_{\alpha}^{t}K(t,s)x(s) ds+C(t)u(t)+f(t) +\mu g(t,x,u,\mu), \quad t\not=\theta_{i}+\mu\tau_{i}(x,\mu), \] \[ \Delta x(\xi_{i})=B_{i}x(\xi_{i}) +\sum_{\alpha\leq\xi_{j}\leq\xi_{i}}D_{ij}x(\xi_{j})+Q_{i}v_{i} +J_{i}+\mu W_{i}(x(\xi_{i}),v_{i},\mu), \;i=1,2,\ldots, p, \] \[ x(\alpha)=a, \quad x(\beta)=b, \] where \(\mu>0\) is small parameter, \(\alpha, \beta, \theta_{i}, \xi_{i}\in R\) such that \(\alpha<\theta_{1}<\ldots <\theta_{p}<\beta,\) and \(\xi_{i}=\theta_{i}+\mu\tau_{i}(x(\xi_{i}),\mu)\); \(A\), \(K\), \(D_{ij}\) and \(B_{i}\) are \(n\times n\) matrices; \(C\) and \(Q_{i}\) are \(n\times m\) matrices; \(x\), \(f\), \(g\), \(J_{i}\), \(W_{i}\), \(a\), and \(b\) are \(n\)-vectors; \(u\) and \(v\) are \(m\)-vectors; \(\Delta x(t)\) denotes \(x(t+)-x(t-),\) where \(x(t+)=\lim_{h\to 0^{+}}x(t+h)\), \(x(t-)=\lim_{h\to 0^{-}}x(t+h)\) and the solutions are left continuous. The results of this paper are obtained by comparing solutions of integro-differential equations having impulse actions at variable moments with solutions of integro-differential equations having impulse actions at fixed moments. This work is a continuation and a generalization of the results obtained by the first two authors [ibid. 34, 1055-1065 (1998; Zbl 0965.93014)] where the control in boundary value problems for quasilinear impulsive differential systems was considered.
